Di Clinton is a mother of two and feels very fortunate to be in a career that she really enjoys. She loves people, and especially the wonder and beauty of children. Since becoming a mother herself she has come to realize how fast time goes and how you cannot replace yesterday. Her goal is to create an image that portrays not only the visibly obvious but also a little bit of the soul at that time in ones life.
Portraits Di’s portraits are most often created on location, in one’s own environment. These photographs are something that portrays the inner beauty of the subject as well as who they are at this stage in their lives.
Connections Di’s connection line is a unique style of Fine Art Photography. Throughout your life you find some amazing and powerful yet different loves. The wonderful new love of an engaged couple and the love you have for a child are just a few. Especially at the start of these connections, they are some of the best emotions and milestones in life. In this line Di works to create an art piece that portrays these connections with sensitivity, realism and love. Every aspect of this line is custom. Your final images are hand printed by Di on archival photographic paper.
Enhanced Di’s enhanced images are images from a photo session that can be enhanced in a few different ways. A black and white image can have color added through the process of “hand tinting”, another way is to adapt a color image to look like a painting, either an oil painting or a water color.
Weddings The beauty and emotion of the day are some of the things Di strives to portray in her images. She does that by trying to follow her heart. She is constantly looking for things that really move her. There is so much of that on a wedding day you just need to be looking for it. In doing that she hopes to create images that endure and continue to bind the relationship that you start long after the day is done.
